Have been here for 6 days already, noticed quite a few interesting way of life unseen in Singapore. Perhaps what you call cultural shock. In anycase, if you ever come here in the future, you won't be too shocked. Will be updating this post should i see more.
1. Dog are allowed in the airport, on the trains, trams and buses.
2. Supermarkets here do not pack for you. You must stuff as much into your bag as fast as you can
3. Dogs here don't bark for some reason (at least i never heard before).
4. You will need to open the underground Train door manually.
5. Open nudity can be found on newspaper, which you can buy off newspaper stands in the streets
6. Nudity images can also be seen publicly on posters outside shops
7. There are more Porsches, audi, mercedes and bmw here than anywhere else in the world
8. you can take the train for free as long as there are no inspectors.
9. You got to pay a fee when you purchase something that comes in plastic bottle, and can only get it back when you recycle the bottle .
10. Cars here go really fast
11. They do not park perpendicularly.
12. Stray into the bicycle path and you will be frowned upon.
13. Churches here are super big and pretty.
14. The underground trains stay underground, the street trains stay above the streets. No mix
15. The germans talk really quickly.
16. All shops here do not open on Sundays. Even supermarkets..
