Class and my
First Homecooked LunchClass was slightly different today. The system here is a little strange, instead of just 1 teacher, we have 2. Purpose they say is for us to learn differently. Didn't work for me! The second teacher sucks. Anyhow, class was still okay, just a little quieter. For lunch, i decided to home cook today. Back home, i noticed my landlady was home. Apparently she had fallen sick, and had to see a doctor. Since she was sick, i had to cook all by myself this time round. Menu? Spagetti Bologneise. Ingredients? Spagetti, Tomato powder sauce and Bah Chor. Never tried cooking anything close to this, on my cooking experience "portfolio", the biggest thing i cook was Instant noodles with egg, meat balls and vegetables, whereby when the water is boiling, you just drop everything into the pot. This time round, i had to pan fry. WOO! Did it my own style. As i didn't want to use too many pots and pans,

i cooked the sauce together with the noodles since it took quite a while for the noodles to be cooked. Theoretically it will be nicer since the noodles would have already absorbed the flavour from the sauce. Once the noodles are cooked, i took them out and continued cooking the sauce till it became saucy(not watery). hahah. As for the meat, there was a little problem. Pan was too hot when i threw in th

e meat and oil started spattering everywhere!! Damn Paiseh. The landlady was home, and i bet she could hear me greasing her kitchen with oil. Unfaltered, lifted the pan high up in the air from the stove. A bit of "stirring" and TADA! The pan got too hot again and the meat started popping out of the pan like popcorns! But hey, i FINISHED! Put them all together and i got myself a restaurant quality spagetti bologneise. My very very first homecooked non instant noodles meal. Seriously, it was that good! i have never been sooooo proud of myself before. The sauce was so nice that i took some bread to eat with it! Then came the washing part, which took me almost 20 mins to wash. Damn troublesome.
More GroceriesIn the afternoon, decided to go get more groceries. On my checklist, more spa

getti sauce, cream suppe, Oranges (or Juice) and bread. Kinda finished all of them. So this time round i decided to explore further. There is this other cheapo supermarket, Aldi sud, also intoduced by the kind malaysian, (i think i should call him Lenko instead). The supermarket was much bigger and nicer though located about a train station away, so off i went with a lot of euro coins and my big trusty red bag. Stupidly i forgot where it was exactly, so tooked me a few rounds to finally see the shop. couldn't get there because i was on the other side of the road, and there were too many cars zooming past. Then i saw a Z8, more appropriately, i heard it first!!!! OMG. SERIOUSLY. if you are wondering whats that, its the BMW that James Bond in the world is not enough, drove and got sawed into 2 by the bad guys. IT WAS SUPER COOL, didn't manage to get a photo as it was too fast. Anyway, i walked down the street looking for the crossing. Walked past a few Kinky costume shop, thought it was really interesting so took a few shots. Then i saw another cheapo supermarkert, PENNY. Bought cheese, a bag of

orange, a pack of ham, and more spagetti sauce and a soup. Paid just 4 euros for all those. Then went to Aldi which was a few blocks down, to get my bread and apple juice! Bread for just 45 cents! OMG. Thats like 90 singapore cents and its 2 times longer. and the 1.5 litres of apple juice is just 45 cents! hahah. Think thats the cheapest thing i bought since i came to germany. Eh no. My spagetti sauce is just 25 cents. OOPS. Stuffed all of them into my big bag, had to hold on to the bread as there was no more space. Had a camera, my bottle and a dictionary, before the bag of oranges, cheese, Ham, Bottle of apple juice. Super proud of myself.
Dinner
Dinner was the same, tried cooking the meat away, don't really know how much longer that meat can last. So checked if my skills have improved. While waiting for the meat to thaw, i tried cooking the soup i just bought. Well it was alright, didn't turned out as nice as i thought it would be, but still nice. Meat wasn't thawed completely when i finished, so i ate another orange , sweet like aaaaaaannngeeeeell! By the time i finished, meat was ready. Did the same thing, but took precaution this time round. Meat didn't splatter as much, but the sauce wasn't as good. Maybe it was tooo cheap. Oh well you get what you pay for. Dinner with apple juice this time. Awesome. Perhaps not as nice as lunch, but it was sure as fulfiling. Why haven't i learned to cook back home?
My First time
During dinner, i walked back into my room to get something and noticed something different outside the window. On closer look, it was SNOWING!!!!! MY FIRST VIRGIN SNOW! (Back in singapore, i had always secretely hope that the freak weather will produce snow. So i get very excited whenever there are freak weather reports) It was really pretty, seriously like foam floating in the air. Instead of dropping down, they flowed horizontally! Quickly whipped out my SLR and took pictures of my Virgin snow. An opportunity not to be missed. Snapped a few, but can't really see the snow falling, merely on top of the cars lining the streets. even tried to use my IXUS V2 to video it, but unfortunately it was toooo dark. Couldn't see shit. For those of you out there thinking that i am a SUAH KU, i really am! hahah. Its yet another FIRST TIME! No wonder it feels so cold tonight..But i am sure going to smile into my sleep tonight.
I want snow too!! :(
