Technically the first breadth is the one you take when you come out of the plane, but hey its from the aircon, so not counted. Armed with huge euro bills, i reached the train ticket machine. Selected the ticket i needed and pop came the 10 eur sign flashing on the screen. So i slotted in the 100 eur bill i took into the machine and as quickly as it went in, it came out. The machine did not accept bills larger than 20. Walked a few rounds in the airport trying to find a shop which was willing to change, after several rounds of fingers pointing, i finally found one "7 eleven" look alike shop who exchanged my 100 eur for a couple of 20s. Bought my ticket and headed towards the S Bahnhof! WOOHOO! This time round, i have a backpack, a laptop bag and a really h

eavy luggage bag that i pull along. It was agonising, but with sheer determination i made it to the train station. The weather was awesome. It was cool, slightly cooler than Genting until the wind starts blowing. Thats when you see an Asian Boy lugging a few bags running like mad for shelter. The train station was pretty simple almost non comparable to our usual glittering MRT station. Actually it looked pretty lok kok consideing that it was the airport station. Anyway, the moment i stepped out of the airport(look at the above picture), i spot a BMW!! ITS A SIGN. and there was an audi showroom on the second floor in the picture. Welcome to the land of AUTOMOBILE!
S-BAHN

The S Bahn was clean and super quiet. Hardly made a soun

d when it left the station, now thats what i call GERMAN TECHNOLOGY, impressive. The U-Bahn on the other hand is exactly opposite! Super noisy and super bright! hahah. I quickly hopped into the train when it arrived. Somehow the wind was stronger in the subway. Weird. transfered at the Marianplatz.
U-BAHN

Guess what! The train didn't start moving until like 2 mins later because the doors couldn't close properly!! Came this announcement by the driver who sounded like a youth, that the door cannot be closed properly, and requested that the passengers open the doors manually!! yes Manually!! those standing moved swiftly to the door and pulled the door handle. It was like orchestrated!! To the BOOs of all the passengers, he tried closing the doors again. It did successfully on the second try and all the passengers started cheering and clapping! It was like a party down there!! hahah super interesting. The train moved off with the driver thanking the passengers and a laugh. Alighted at the next stop Sendlinger Tor. when i rose to the street level, i was greeted by this row of parked cars. BMW, MERC, AUDI, VOLKSWAGEN. I couldn't stop smiling to myself.. you know when you watch TV, and in some scenes whereby the european streets are misty, i always thought they are just some special effects. My GOD it is really like that!! even in the DAY! Couldn't see the street i was heading for and lugging around a luggage looking for it isn't really an option, so i gathered all the courage left in me and stopped this 2 ladies (quite chio) in their track. "Entshudigung Sie Bitte, wo kann ich the Muellerstrasse finden!" and she went "Oh Muellerstrasse ist gleich hier und blah blah blah blah" didn't quite catch what she was saying at the end but was looking at where she pointed. After a polite smile and a Danke Schone i headed in that direction. Seeing the muellerstrasse sign put a smile back on my face again. However pulling my luggage down the cobbled street was really irritating as it went "tok tok tok tok". My block was 34.
Meine Wohnung (My Accomodation)

Took me half an hour to find it cause out of sooooooo many freaking building, that is the only one without the number at the door. Its like a condo system here, there is a

door downstairs and another up here, so i called for the land lady. After 3 stories worth of creaky steps and at least 35 kg worth on luggage on me, i was totally exhausted. Throat was dry and hands were cold. I wasn't expecting to see a beautiful home after climbing those creaky stairs but guess what! when she opened the door, i was greeted with the most beautiful small home i ever seen! It was very IKEAish hahah. Parquet floor(how do you spell that

agai

n?) and warm yellow lights. Its really lovely here. probably going to stay here for the entire 5 months. Its situated right in the middle of the city too! super convenient. The Landlady Frau Rosemarie was really friendly, but she can't really speak English, however she understood my broken German! hahah yay. She sacrificed her own internet cable such that i can use it here. So yay! The picture on the left is my view from the windows.
Ok, have spent the entire morning doing this already, its time to go walk around abit. Pretty cold and cloudy outside. But i will be prepared this time round! Got 2 missions today, discovering the shops and getting my weekly train ticket. Hopefully i can tour around the place already!
