Ok, this time round i am not going to torture you anymore with German. Anyway the previous post was just a rant from me that is more appropriate to do through german. Good to know a foreign language huh? Anyway, travelled to Salzburg today. Its in Austria, also one of my last final trips here in Europe. Sadly for the past 4 months, i visited only 2 other cities outside Germany. Prague and today Salzburg. And in 2 weeks London! No money no talk. Anyway Salzburg, it is about 2 hours by train from Munich. My school had organised this short excursion and together with 19 others, we travelled through Bayern to the south easten border of Germany. No passport was required. So no visa stamp. sigh.. A little background about the city of Salzburg, it is the city where Mozart was born. I don't think i need to explain anything more about him, if you don't already know him, you should just feed yourself to the Tigers in the Zoo. Anyway, its pretty amazing how one city is build around one person. At least that was the case of the tourism industry. They were selling almost everything with the mozart face printed on, T shirts;Cups, underwear, chocolates (really famous), key chains. Maybe 100 years down the road, Los angeles will be the same. haha. Not going to bore you with details on what i did in Salzburg, but one thing i must say is that i simply love the region. Surrounded by Alps, not hilly Alps but Mountain Alps, with snowcap sumits that rise above the clouds. The streets were truly europaisch as well. Went to yet another castle sitting yet on another hill occupying yet another humongous piece of land offering yet another stunning view of the city that lies below. Kinda the same all over this part of europe. It is pretty much like Germany actually, they speak german, pay by Eurs. In fact the food cost more than those in Munich. Crazy. Took almost 300 photos in 5 hours, only a pity that it was such a short trip. Didn't do much except walking through the city really quickly and spending more than an hour lunching at the top of the hill with a stunning view of the Alps. Sounds cool eh? It was literally. kk. Enough of my bull shit and enjoy the pictures...
