Small hole Big problem

Finally after a week of relentless rain, the sun is out and sky is blue. So grabbed my camera once more and headed out for some photo adventure. The past week has been a rather eventful week, big bad events that is, shall not go into details, but together with the horrible weather made it the most awful week since my arrival. Thus headed out for some fresh air. Anyway, this time round i experimented on indoor shooting. So the main train station is a good place to begin. Big and open, but still covered. Kinda crowded as it was a Friday afternoon, many people were heading out of Munich for a short weekend trip. Stood in the middle of the crowded train station, with my SLR sitting on the fully extended tripod. clearly living up to the stereotypes of Chinese with big cameras. What made it worse was my beeping camera when on timer mode. Why is it on timer mode? Well i didn't want to shake the camera while pressing the shutter during its 3 sec shutter opening. And stupidly canon didn't introduce the 2 sec timer mode on this model. (only 10 secs, even my 2 mp cam has a 2 sec mode). so while it goes beeping for the whole 10 secs, i stood there like an idiot trying to ignore the "oh, another chinese tourist with a camera" look. Took a couple of shots before heading to "somewhere" else. Yeah. Its just another one of my random cycling trips. Got a couple of photos here, not too bad i would say, but wasn't too focused on photography as the main point was to get out and stop thinking. Halfway through to the next destination, i felt a little resistance on my back wheel and turned back to see the tyre a little more deflated than what i came out with. Then came this overwhelming wave of shitty feeling. Stuck somewhere in the city center at 8pm with a puncture. Although the sky was still sunny, pushing it back would take about 2 hours. While its remotely possible, i decided to take the train back instead. Its just not worth saving that 5 eurs. The next day i walked to a bike shop near my place. The repair for a puncture at a bike shop would cost 25 eurs. WTF right? You can get a freaking bike at that price la! So spent another 15 on repair kit, including a pump and the plasters and do it myself instead. Took slightly more than an hour and got my hands really dirty. But its done. Nothing is too difficult. Hopefully that is the last shit for the week.
